So here it is the first SEO Training Course review and I start off with Bruce Clay’s SEOToolSet Courses and SEO Training. To find out more immediatley go to Seotoolset.com/training/courses.html, but here is a quick review from me.
Remember that I will be rating these courses from 1-5 (5 being the highest) and I come to this rating from a couple of factors those being: Length of course, who is giving the course, relevance of course to SEO, cost of course, accessibility of course (meaning can you take it from home or do you have to travel) and some other small factors. Remember this is my opinion.
So for the SEOToolSet Courses and SEO Training by the Bruce Clay organization I give them a 3.5. The reasons why this course gets a 3.5 is the following:
Pros – First of all the Bruce Clay organization is giving the courses and you get a certificate, this alone gives their courses a 3. Bruce Clay is well known in the industry and knows his stuff.
Cons – The courses are very expensive from $1195 to $1795 (plus travel). The other issues is you have to take the course in California so this can get expensive if you have to get airfare and lodging. The other thing is the course is only 1.5 – 3 days long which in my eyes is not long enough, I don’t think you can learn SEO in 3 days.
So overall I think the Cons outway the Pros, but with that being said I think this course would be worth the money and travel if you have the time and money.

One “tiny” error. There are 2 courses taught in a row: a 3-day for $1795 and then a 1.5 day advanced for $1195. It is not a 3-day only course. But at 4.5 days, with integrated tools, Q&A, colleagues and focus you learn more than anywhere else (other than becomming one of our employees). Why not take the course? BTW, we are going nationwide in 2009, and still I get a full 40+ students per class even with the cost of travel.
